Narrative Post would like to congratulate Marrickville Library on winning the New South Wales Landscape Architecture Award for Civic Landscape and three other major prestigious New South Wales architecture awards.

The library, designed by BVN and constructed by Mirvac, has won NSW Premier’s Prize, the Milo Dunphy Award for Sustainable Architecture and the award for Public Architecture. Built on the old site of Marrickville Hospital, the building forms the heart of the new Marricks and Co precinct, an exciting new reinvigoration of Marrickville, as well as part of the work to transform the inner west of Sydney with more visually stunning architectural additions.
…a celebration of the historic environment as well as an exciting forward look into what the future holds.

We already knew it was a winner, that’s why we jumped at the chance to use it as the backdrop for the latest Subaru Hybrid marketing and PR photoshoot campaign earlier this year. The focus on sustainability and the combination with the latest technology is a celebration of the historic environment as well as an exciting forward look into what the future holds.

Incredibly fitting that we shot Subaru’s hybrid e-Boxer engine in the new Subaru XV and Forester at this location. The e-Boxer inherits the history of Subaru’s fantastic low centre-of-gravity opposed-piston engine design and integrates the latest in electric motoring technology. Posted to Subaru Australia’s social media campaign, the new hybrid Subaru range provided an exciting look ahead into our motoring future!
